Roots & Path

Hello, I’m Kimberly Joy Macatangay Pozzi. With roots in the Ivatans from Batanes Islands and the Tagalog culture, I feel deeply connected to my ancestry. My Babaylan mentor has given me the spiritual name Lakhaw-Ayan Bituon, which means “Travelling Princess Star.” A name that I'm proud to carry in this journey.

Life has gently guided me between the Philippines and Italy, and now I find myself travelling throughout the Philippines, with a base in the serene island of Siargao. Here, I offer meditation, rituals, and opportunities for ancestral remembrance, all inspired by my cultural roots and personal experience. All my work is grounded in the principle of Kapwa, which emphasizes our shared humanity.

Practice & Offerings

I have the honor of leading Hayahay, a meditative ancestral ritual that draws inspiration from our rich pre-colonial animist traditions. This beautiful practice, along with Filipino divinations like Sungka and Gabaybayin, has gently been passed down to me through the guidance of my Babaylan mentor, as well as my grandmother and great-grandmother. I also teach Baybayin, the ancient Filipino script and I cherish sharing it through writing workshops and rituals that emphasize heartfelt prayer and personal release. Additionally, I offer foundational meditation and guidance in Akashic self-mastery, always focusing on empowerment and honoring our cultural heritage rather than just performance. In addition to in-person work, I offer online one-on-one sessions, guiding students around the world in filipino ancestral wisdom, meditation practice  and Akashic access with respect and structured care.

Community, Collabs & Media

I also teach on Insight Timer, where I focus on sharing Filipino ancestral wisdom alongside occasional guided meditations that support individual spiritual journeys. This platform allows me to reach both Filipinos and non-Filipinos globally, helping reconnect cultural memory while nurturing grounded spiritual exploration.

Since moving to Siargao island, I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to work alongside some incredible places, like Diwa Eco House, Emerald House Village, Filosopia, and the Nomads in Paradise Festival. For a global reach my offerings are easy to find on platforms like GetYourGuide, Tripadvisor, and Tourist.com, making them accessible to both locals and visitors.

I’m also truly excited to share that my Hayahay Filipino meditative ritual has been featured in Manila Standard, helping to gently raise awareness about the beautiful cultural spirituality of pre-colonial Filipino practices.

Filipino Heritage & Background

To nurture and cherish our cultural memory, I lovingly curate “Filipino Heritage”, an online archive dedicated to sharing trustworthy research on pre-colonial Filipino history. As a certified meditation teacher, Hayahay facilitator, and guide for Akashic self-mastery, I bring a gentle and supportive approach to my work. With a Master’s degree in Fundraising Management and a background in sustainable fashion, environmental initiatives, and empowering women and children, I aim to foster meaningful connections across cultures. Fluent in Tagalog, Italian, and English, I warmly welcome individuals from all walks of life and encourage anyone navigating trauma to seek the compassionate support they deserve from licensed professionals.
